2025 Formula 1 Opening Titles.

In collaboration with the talented & dedicated team at DissEmbargo, we created the 2025 Formula 1 Opening Titles.

In 2025 the team at F1 wanted to rely much more on CGI than previous years and to accomplish this, Jake, Craig and I set out to build a team that could deliver on quality in both Design, Animation and Production. The end result of our efforts was an Opening Titles which the passionate F1 fan base embraced & loved, kicking off a new exciting season of F1 in a new modern & sleek style, setting the tone for an action packed year of racing.

Design & Animation

Working within a small team of people, I lead the Art Direction and developed the overall look and feel of the titles alongside3D studio, DissEmbargo.

Production

Additionally, I worked closely with Jake and Craig to develop and draw the storyboard for the entire sequence, spending copious amounts of time looking at transitions, test shooting on iPhones and going over and over movcements to push boundaries on what we thought was possible.

We deliberated over various production technicques, from full on virtual production to a simple green screen shoot, vith a view of increasing the production value and concept from years gone by.

Despite some challenging conditions along the way, the entire team pulled together brilliantly. I’m proud of how we’ve internalised much of the process within our Creative Studio while collaborating with some fantastic agency partners on graphics and studio production.
